Perfect cereal for a type 1 diabetic
I just had to post a review.I’ve been type 1 diabetic since I was 9 years old. I’m now 29.I have steered clear of cereal in my adult years since they always spiked my blood glucose which in turn made me feel yuck. This cereal is amazing. I got the vanilla one and it’s seriously so nice. As other reviews have mentioned they’re harder than other brands of cereal hoops but I love this as I don’t like soggy cereal.35g portion size may look small but it’s filling and gets me through till lunch time.I have attached a picture of my CGM to show how my blood glucose stayed in range after eating these. I had a bowl (35g) with unsweetened almond milk just after 10am. My BG did slightly raise which is to be expected when eating anything that contains any carbs but came straight back down in no time.Highly recommend this cereal and will be purchasing more when I’m down to my last box.

They keep me going through the morning.
I tried these for the first time last week as I wanted a cereal that would sustain me through to lunch. I can confirm that they do this really well. Unfortunately though, the taste for me was slightly odd. It was not really much like cinnamon. I’m unsure what the issue is regarding the crunchiness of the cereal from other reviewers. I thought the crunch was nice.

Really good - just a bit dense
I really like the flavour, but the texture could use some work: the hoops are quite dense and less like cereal, more like baked, crispy, sweet croutons. But honestly I dig it. It takes longer to chew, and doesn't go soggy. I would definitely like the light crispness of normal cereal, but I do understand that lower carb products tend to be dense. It's a fair compromise.

Inedible for me personally
Really couldn't stomach these. Very bitter protein-y taste. They are very crunchy and keep their crunch which is good but I couldn't get on board with the flavour. Your mileage may vary.

Good way to start your morning
To be fair, for the amount of protein is probably the cheapest protein cereal I've found. Initially, I got a box from WholeFoods as it was on sale and I was curious about them. The taste was good so I decided to check on Amazon to see if cheaper, which it was. It tastes the same as the one from the store, ideal if you want a fast and high-protein meal. Quite a decent proportion of protein per calorie (34g per 386 kcal), and the recommended serving size of 35g is more than enough for me. No complaint other than I wish they would come with other flavours as well. I will definitely order again. Also, good to snack on as well.

Unusual flavour
This cereal is quite hard and crunchy which I quite liked as it meant it didn't go soggy in milk. However I found it has a very unusual flavour which I just really didn't like. It tastes very artificial to me and the flavour lingers for a long time. It's not for me!

Great high protein low card breakfast alternative.
I was looking to find a good healthy cereal alternative to get me through the morning without feeling hungry as well as providing the energy I needed to get through a gym session. They are somewhat more crunchy than most other cereal products which is a little unusual when you first try them, but I actually now prefer that texture. The cinnamon flavour also comes through very well. This is a great healthy way to start the day.

Pretty good but very expensive.
As healthy breakfast cereals go, this is good: crunchy and tasty. However it’s just too expensive for me to justify as a regular thing. As others have noted, the first reaction you will have to opening a box is feeling cheated: the boxes are half empty. You’ll get around 8 servings out of a box if you stick to the suggested quantity of 35g… but that is a pitiful amount of cereal. Around a quarter of a bowl. So, realistically, you’ll get about 4 servings per box. So, plus milk, you’re paying £1.50 for a bowl of cereal. If that seems like a good deal to you, fill your boots. To me, it’s about twice the price that I’d be willing to pay.
