I bought it from a shop and was told it was the best they did but it's dreadful, it can't tackle anything heavier than lightweight fabric. As you will imagine this made me very nervous of buying another machine so I did tons of research and decided that a Janome seemed the best for the money for me. I hadn't seen this machine anywhere but a really kind man at a Yorkshire company listened to what I was looking for and told me this machine was as well built as my old one but with all the modern finishes such as the cut off thread button and no foot pedal if you didn't want to use it etc. I've refrained from putting a review until I had had the chance to really try it properly on all sorts of fabrics and I can honestly say it is a wonder to use. It is quiet does anything and everything I want it to do with ease and the new threading system is so easy to use.
