Its 3.25 MOA dot is the most popular size for versatile shooting, compatible with night vision, and features a button lockout to prevent accidental changes. Ideal for military, law enforcement, concealed carry, and hunting, this optic delivers precision, durability, and adaptability in a compact 1-ounce package. ## Description The RMR Type 2 is designed with a patented housing shape that absorbs impacts and diverts stresses away from the lens to increase durability. It also offers redesigned and upgraded electronics that have been proven to perform when mounted on slide ride pistols and other small arms. It’s suitable for military, law enforcement, concealed carry self-defense, target shooting, and hunting applications. The RMR Type 2 Adjustable LED sight puts the illumination control in the user’s hands. Easy-to-use buttons on the sides of the optic allow the user to adjust the illumination brightness, toggle between manual and automatic modes, and power down the RMR for storage. The automatic mode functions the same as the LED RMR version. If a manual mode has been chosen, the RMR will remain in manual mode for 16.5 hours following the last push of a button. After 16.5 hours, the optic will default back to the automatic mode so that the RMR will be ready for your next mission or task. All RMR Type 2 Adjustable LED sights are compatible with night vision devices, with the 3.25 MOA dot size being the most popular. Additionally, the user can also lock out the buttons so that the RMR functions in automatic mode only. This ensures that inadvertent button pushes do not cause a loss of aiming solution. The 3.25 MOA dot in the RM06 is the most versatile and popular of all RMR dot sizes. The dot is small enough to allow accurate shooting at range while also being big enough to locate quickly. https://www.trijicon.com/products/details/rm06-c-700696 ## Features - Great Product ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0721L3PKC | | Best Sellers Rank | #70,189 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) #174 in Gun Sights | | Brand Name | Trijicon | | Color | Black | | Compatible Devices | Handgun | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars (1,392) | | Field Of View | 3.25 arc_minute | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00719307614239 | | Included Components | Product | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 1.8"L x 1.1"W x 1"H | | Item Type Name | Holster | | Item Weight | 1 ounces | | Lens Color | Black | | Magnification Maximum | 1 x | | Magnification Minimum | 1 | | Manufacturer | Trijicon | | Manufacturer Part Number | RM06-C-700672 | | Material Type | Plastic | | Model Name | RM06-C-700672 | | Model Number | RM06-C-700672 | | Mounting Type | Picatinny Mount | | Number of Items | 2 | | Product Style | No Mount | | Reticle Type | Dot, 3.25 MOA | | Sport Type | Hunting | | UPC | 719307614239 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Warranty Description | 2 Year Manufacturer | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Trijicon - **Color:** Black - **Compatible Devices:** Handgun - **Item Weight:** 1 ounces - **Magnification Maximum:** 1 x - **Magnification Minimum:** 1 - **Material:** Plastic - **Product Dimensions:** 1.8"L x 1.1"W x 1"H - **Sport:** Hunting - **Style:** No Mount ## Images ![RMR Type 2 3.25 MOA Adjustable LED Red Dot Sight - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51txqwQTRmL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Style** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Anyone know what the “type 2” improves on?** A: It does NOT turn off in the holster as someone said. There are optics that will turn off when no motion is detected for a period of time but a holster has nothing to do with this and typically if in a holster there will be movement anyway. The battery contacts and the ability to hold a setting for 16 hrs before returning to auto are the upgrades from type 1. Again tge RMR Type 2 is NOT motion activated!! **Q: Are they still selling fakes? or has this been resolved?** A: There’s a good video on YouTube on how to spot a fake. I have fake that I purposely bought on eBay for one of my range guns and there’s a huge difference between the fake and the real. There are many things to look for but a few things to check are the adjustment screws. They should be black and should be flathead screws, not an allen head. The finish also should not scratch off very easily. **Q: Why does the description say type 2 yet I received a type 1?** A: I received a type 2. If you received a type 1 you should probably send it back for an exchange. **Q: Do I need to purchase and additional mounting accessories to mount to a fnx 45 tactical?** A: I purchased this to mount on an FNX-45 and needed nothing else! ## Frequently Bought Together - Trijicon RMR Type 2 3.25 MOA Adjustable LED Red Dot Sight - Trijicon RMR Mount Sealing Plate - DPP Titanium Mounting Kit/Anti Flicker Sealing Plate Kit Compatible with Trijicon RMR/SRO Glock MOS and Springfield OSP Models --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/46251371-rmr-type-2-3-25-moa-adjustable-led-red-dot](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/46251371-rmr-type-2-3-25-moa-adjustable-led-red-dot) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-12*
