The bottle was gray in color, roughly one quart, and square shaped. They said of all the products they (the granite company) had used, this was the ONE product they really endorsed and told their customers to buy. It worked awesome. What a deep clean and shine that didn't fade the first time wiping down the countertops after any mess - this product was awesome indeed. But. It eventually ran out, and searching desertcart I could not find the exact match. I found that the original Dupont product said Stone Tech on it, so searching for Stone Tech I was happy to see several sizes of Stone Tech granite cleaner found. But when the wife said the new stuff wasn't anything like the original Dupont, I first thought it was a perception thing because of the different green bottle versus Dupont Silver bottle thing. Story shortened, here's the critical thing I learned: I compared the ingredients list on the original Dupont / Stone Tech cleaner and sealer to the one I had purchased, and sure enough, the one I first purchased was a Stone Tech granite cleaner, and it was MISSING a key ingredient which was the SEALER ingredient on the original Dupont - the ingredient is "Flourinated Acrylic Copolymer". Further searching revealed that while none of the Stone Tech granite cleaner products had the word "sealer" in the name on them, but some had the word "revitalizer". Those Stone Tech products DO have that ingredient, and is THE KEY to making the countertops shine and stay glossy (sealed) for a period of time. Stone Tech also has another product in very nearly the exact same packaging (that I first bought) which is a "daily cleaner" and does NOT contain the acrylic copolymer sealant in it. So here's what I learned, and why I give this a 5 star rating: > This Stone Tech "revitalizer and cleaner" has the sealer ingredient. It leaves a great shine when used, even on our now 12 year old heavily used countertops. This is exactly the same as our original bottle left by the installer. However, as the installer said, this contains a sealer component, and thus SHOULD NOT be used daily as a cleaner. This product should only be used perhaps once per week, maybe less often, as needed. > The other Stone Tech product in nearly an identical looking bottle has the words "daily cleaner" and is what should/can be used for DAILY cleaning, as well as diluted and used on floors such as Granite, Travertine, Marble, Slate, Limestone, and Quartzite. *** I recommend using BOTH the Stone Tech daily cleaner (which can be diluted and makes sense since it is a bit expensive to be used full strength on flooring daily), and this product - Stone Tech Revitalizer, Cleaner, and Protector, for the occasional cleaning and sealing which provides a beautiful smooth clean surface with a very noticeable shine, every 1-2 weeks or as needed. If I use this product every week, I will first use the Daily Cleaner product, then apply a fairly light, single coat of this product, and buff dry it to a shine. If I haven't used this product in several weeks or longer, I again first use the Daily Cleaner, but then will apply a SECOND coat after a first coat has been applied and buffed to a shine, and the second coating makes an even BIGGER difference of appearance of smoothness and shine. This product works so well, I am tempted to use it daily, but since it is a sealer, I have noticed that using it too often DOES make the granite a bit darker than normal, because of the acrylic copolymer build up if used too frequently. Review: lived in our house 12 years before we knew you shouldn't use whatever cleaners on stone. This is a great improvement even on the first use! It has a fresh suttle scent - not overpowering, and best of all it does not leave any film or buildup on the granite. Other products I have used have left streaks and a film. I was excited to find it in a refill size through Amazon as I have not seen it in most stores.
