Offers better guidance. 6FT (6 Feet): Perfect for exploration, training commands like "heel," and giving your dog more room to sniff in parks. **Q: How do I choose the right THICKNESS/SIZE for my dog?** A: Small-3/8” (Thinner & Lighter): Ideal for small to medium dogs, or dogs with sensitive or long hair. More comfortable for daily use. Large-1/2”(Thicker & Heavier): Best for stronger, larger, or powerful pullers. Offers maximum durability. **Q: Is this slip leash safe for my dog?** A: Yes, when used correctly. Our slip leash is designed with a secure anti-choke ring that prevents the loop from closing too tightly on your dog's neck. It is intended for controlled walks and training, not for tying your dog up unsupervised. **Q: Why does my leash slide not smoothly enough?** A: Please check if you form the loop shape looks like a “P” or a “9”. If you form a perfect "O," it will not release properly. The "P" shape ensures it tightens and loosens smoothly. **Q: My dog is a strong puller. Will this leash help?** A: Our slip leash is an excellent training tool for loose-leash walking. For chronic pullers, the 1/2” thickness is highly recommended for its pressure distribution. For the best results, we recommend pairing the leash with consistent training techniques. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Brilliant *by B***A on 14 July 2026* Great for our x large dog, easy to control him. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Splendid *by T***Y on 24 September 2025* Awesome bit of kit. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Una correa de largo exacto para mascota mediana o grande *by J***. on 1 November 2023* Una correa de largo exacto para mascota mediana o grande ## Frequently Bought Together - Fida Durable Slip Lead, 6 FT x 1/2" Heavy Duty Loop Leash, Comfortable Strong Rope for Large, Medium Dogs, No Pull Pet Training With Highly Reflective, Green - PetSafe Easy Walk No-Pull Dog Harness - The Ultimate Harness to Help Stop Pulling - Take Control & Teach Better Leash Manners - Helps Prevent Pets Pulling on Walks, Large, Black/Silver - Fida 5 FT Heavy Duty Dog Leash with 2 Comfortable Padded Handles, Traffic Handle & Advanced Easy Snap Hook, Reflective Walking Lead for Large, Medium & Small Breed Dogs, Red --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/462944295-fida-durable-dog-slip-rope-leash-no-pull-heavy-duty](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/462944295-fida-durable-dog-slip-rope-leash-no-pull-heavy-duty) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-05*
