The band was quite large on me (very small wrists). I found the handy link removal tool inside, but upon examination of the band I couldn’t find pins anywhere except for the fastener area. I emailed the seller and asked for instructions that were promptly emailed to me. The instructions were nice, but still no pins in my band. I decided to just position the tool where I thought a pin should be and gave it a few turns until it tightened against the band. To my surprise, the pin magically began to show itself on the other side of the band. The pins are there, you just can’t see them. As others have stated, once you begin to remove the links and refit, the metal of the band just mangles. It did take me about 45 mins to remove 4 links in total, losing 2 of the spares to bent metal. Needle nose pliers were needed to pull the pins completely from the links. The tool only pushed the pins halfway out and it was not possible to pull them by hand. Overall, FOR THE PRICE, it is a beautiful watch and I hope I can get some good wear out of it.
