They were a lot easier to cut than the more stiff felts that I have used before. The colors also look a lot brighter and seem to be made of better quality materials than opposing brands. Nice felt, not that cheap weird foamish feeling felt. Has some weight to it, I was making a pencil case out of mine that looked like a house and it works well for that. I hand sewed mine and it was easily done, needles went through with the appropriate amount of tension. This is a nice matte felt that worked really well for my project. Would recommend.
