It is lightweight but heavy enough to hang well. It comes out of the washer and dryer in near perfect condition. I only iron it here and there if I want a really crisp look for the table. Otherwise, no ironing is necessary and it looks very good on the table. The option to iron or not to iron is important to me because I do not like having to iron a tablecloth every time it is laundered.The last time I used this tablecloth, two drops of dark blue candle wax stained the tablecloth which appeared black on the white background. After spraying the stains with "spray and wash", I took a soft toothbrush and scrubbed at the stains. Both stains came out completely. Very impressed because I have tablecloths where this was not the case. However, for some reason, a couple of the napkins retained a food stain despite using a spot remover before wash. This was annoying so will have to soak the napkins to see if the stains will come out. The napkins do not need ironing after using the dryer but I ironed them anyway because I like a crisp napkin.The tablecloth is reasonably priced.
