We have several fruit trees and a nice garden. Rats have been eating whatever they can get their little paws on. I bought these because I used a similar product 9 years ago when I bought my house and there were gophers in the lawn. I bought one (probably a different brand) from Amazon and never again have I seen a trace of a gopher (knock on wood). I bought TWO of these thinking I'd make SURE the rats didn't come back. I put one in my lawn and one kitty corner near my garden. I thought they were working at first because I saw less rats than I had before, but I also wasn't spending as much time outside as I had been earlier in the summer. Since putting these in my lawn I've still seen rats on occasion. In fact, just the other day, there was one just chilling by the repellent and when the repellent made its noise the rat didn't budge. I've seen rats hustle right by the repellents like they're not even there. Bottom line is, these repellents don't work.FYI- the seller asked me NOT to post a negative review. I don't think anyone should do business with someone who wants to pad their reviews with only positivity.
