I purchased another brand that made my caramels taste like plastic.** A: This candy mold is fine. Quite a change from cutting carmels by hand! No odd smell, no off taste. Great product. **Q: Is this BPA free?** A: At the bottom of the description it does say that it is BPA free. **Q: What is the easiest way to pour hot caramel into the 80 square molds** A: I just used this mold the first time for caramels. A little apprehensive, but I found it very easy to pour the hot caramel. I started pouring in the middle of the mold and worked out towards the edges. I used a tiny rubber spatula to help the caramel spread. My caramel recipe filled the tray perfectly. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/468134592-126-cavities-square-candy-silicone-molds-mini-silicone-molds-chocolate](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/468134592-126-cavities-square-candy-silicone-molds-mini-silicone-molds-chocolate) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-11-08*
