For those facilities and situations where people keep stealing cable adapters, this product is perfect. Wish they sold a cost effective version without the crimps ;)

I am using these to keep MAC HDMI adapters attached to HDMI cables in public spaces at a school. In the past the adapters would just "walk away" all the time. I've probably spent hundreds of dollars replacing those. Now, for a low price, I'm able to attach them permanently to the cables. Yes - someone can probably cut them off. But most of the time it is a matter of convenience when they "walk away". I put 6 of these in immediately and so far haven't had a loss of an adapter since.
