Review: Sharpie S-gel perfect replacement! - Just replaced the ink from a metal Sharpie S- Gel pen with one of these. I was/am shocked at how quickly I had trouble with the original pen. The size looked like a great match, but after putting the refill in, I noticed the tip was a little “short”, so I followed the instructions and simple inserted the tip protector into the back of the refill (easy, and it was quite small) and the pen appears perfect! It’s the first one, so I can’t yet judge longevity; but it is writing smoothly right out of the gate, appears to be great quality, the pen is functioning properly, color is good and clear (get the blue refills) and thus far I’m very pleased. Will try to update if things change. Most importantly; I can confirm these work well in Sharpie S-gel pens.
