Review: Car Speaker in a Home Audio Subwoofer? Yes, it can work! - This speaker works really well as a replacement for the driver in my Kenwood home audio subwoofer. I was concerned about the Kenwood amp only pushing 110 watts RMS into 4 ohms, but it is plenty of power. The sub sounds great. My wife had to ask me to turn down the volume, but I was really enjoying having some decent low frequencies again!

A: No they are normal depth

A: Thanks for your question. Here are the dimensions of our JBL Stage 1010:

Top Mount Depth: 4 9/16 inches
Bottom Mount Depth: 4 15/16 inches

**Q: What is the depth of the speaker front to the back of the magnet?**
A: The JBL Stage 1010 has a mounting depth of 4 13/16” (121.8mm).

**Q: What is impedance rating (2 or 4 ohm??) single or dual voice coils??? will be running single on 500w rockford fosgate mono amp??? thx**
A: It’s 4 ohm and you should be fine with that amp for one subwoofer.  This woofer is 225rms watts which is what you should be looking at for subwoofers not peak watts. So that amp is just fine

This speaker works really well as a replacement for the driver in my Kenwood home audio subwoofer.
