But sticky without lube. *by S***L on April 2, 2023* It works great and it’s hard to beat the value. My only gripe is that it’s stickier out of the box than other clay bars I’ve used. When you handle it without lube it sticks to your fingers. For instance, I like to cut them into pieces before use, and while in use if I didn’t spray my fingertips or both sides of the clay, it stuck. It leaves remnants when you pull it off. The remnants are easily removed but this didn’t happen with Meguiars and Mothers clay bars I’ve used. Also, when you set it down for a period of time it “melts”, not into liquid form, but it doesn’t hold its shape and ends up spreading and sticking to whatever you put it on. With that said, it’s fine when lubed and it does a great job, as expected. An added bonus, these seem slightly larger than other clay bars.
