Wait until they have cooled and they will come off easily. **Q: Can you place this directly onto the oven shelf or must you place it on top of a cookie sheet?** A: I've only used them on a cookie sheet, but I would imagine that you could put them directly on the oven grate, though you wouldn't have as much structure as a pan when pulling it out of the oven. **Q: What is the diameter of the circles on the silpat?** A: The larger circle is 2.5"... the smaller one is 1.5".
