They sound so similar** A: Honestly, I wouldn't recommend Sally Hansen. I was looking for a nail hardener that is water based, so my nails can soak up the moister. Sally Hansen Diamond Strength is like a top coat. So if it peels off, the some what strengthener peels off with it. **Q: Is the finish Matt, shiny or gloss? I need to strengthen my nails for playing guitar.** A: its shiny but have not had it long enough to really test strength; the hard as nails hanson product is quite good if you play guitar **Q: Is this the same one as the mega strength hardener sold in the us?** A: I do not think so.
