The 'eyes' where the apron ribbons connect have good sized metal eyelets. My only criticism is that each time you put it on you have to feed the ribbons through the lower eyelets before then tying at the back. I've ended up stitching a section of each ribbon together to make a neck loop, then tying the remaining ribbons to the side eyelets which allows me to cross them behind my back and tie them at the front. Just the right number of pockets for a wood worker. If there are too many they become useless. One small criticism is the tapes could be a little longer for doing up at the front. As it is can only tie at the back. That's just personal choice and could be argued that at the back is safer when working with machinery.
