I am glad I had them. When our trailer (loaded down with a 1.25 ton car) got stuck in the mud at an angle that made it impossible to hook up or push out we got out a chain to try and tow it out with but could not find the D ring to connect it together. I sacrificed a couple of these carabiners instead, expecting that they might just break immediately. Sure enough one of them got stretched out and the other looked like it was going the same way but they did not break, the chain held and we got the trailer turned around to hook up. For something that isn't meant to take a lot of weight they will manage a fair bit of force before giving out (obviously don't take this to mean that you should use them for climbing or towing vehicles... but in an emergency they are great to have around). ## Frequently Bought Together - STURME Carabiner Clip Aluminum D-Ring Locking Durable Strong and Light Large Carabiners Clip Set for Outdoor Camping Screw Gate Lock Hooks Spring Link Improved Design Pack (9 Pack) - STURME 2" Aluminum D Ring Carabiners Clip D Shape Spring Loaded Gate Small Keychain Carabiner Clip Set Outdoor Camping Mini Lock Snap Hooks Spring Link Key Chain Durable Improved 24 PCS - Carabiner Clip - Heavy Duty Carabiners Carabeaner D Ring Shape,Key Chain Clip Hook,Keychain Clip,Multipurpose for Camping, Hiking,Backpacking or Other Outdoor Activities. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/47890488-sturme-locking-carabiner-aluminum-d-ring-clip-d-shape-super](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/47890488-sturme-locking-carabiner-aluminum-d-ring-clip-d-shape-super) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-25*
