Now the downsides. I have one major complaint, and some minor ones. Biggest issue is that for some reason all the secondary and shift function markings on the keys are opaque, making them very hard to see beside the lit up letters. If you don't have the locations memorized you will hate the delay of squinting at the board to find the ^ or %. Also, it's noisy. Very! Not the right keyboard for a dorm, or roommates, they will murder you in your sleep, guaranteed. Last quibble, I wish the polling rate was faster for gaming. 1kHz is lame. I mostly love this thing, but the drawbacks mean that now I've gotten a taste for quality keys, when I have the cash I will upgrade to faster polling with full visibility of all characters. Rapid fast key-switches and overall performance. No connection/driver issues everything just works with no software as soon as plugged in. In terms of sound it sounds very very close to a top quality custom keyboard and doesn’t sound cheap/clanky or too loud at all, I would say that the keys are slightly quieter than CherryMX Silvers with a much better sound when compared.
