I put it on at night and wear a cheap pair of gloves. In the morning my hands are so soft, supple and hydrated. It really is a fantastic cream. Secondly, the tubes are small (30ml) but you only need a small amount as it is so thick! However, it spreads nicely on my hands. Finally, my only gripe is the smell. You do get a whiff of some essential oils but they cannot mask the awful smell. Some people may like the smell but I cannot stand it. Still, I am not that bothered as I put my gloves on so can't smell it . Overall, this is a brilliant hand cream. I have already recommended this to my colleagues and I will be buying this again. A little goes a long way, so it's worth the price in my opinion. It's very thick and does its job well, and I use it on my face with no problem, though not every day. It'll give your skin a healthy glow without looking or feeling oily. **Q: How does this compare to embryolisse lait cream?** A: the skin food is much thicker and more emollient. the lait cream dries semi-matte for my skin, but skin food will leave an oil-based sheen. I use skin food at night and lait cream for day and it works out well. **Q: Does the cream have an offensive odor?** A: I'm not a sensitive fragrance person and can tolerate a lot, but this has such a strong odor I could not make it to a second application. The fragrance is so overwhelming it smelled like Lestoil house cleaner. I heard great things about Weleda and had high hopes for this skin cream and was disappointed. I read it could help and decided to give it a go. He tried many creams and few prescribed ones, nothing ever really worked and if it helped only for a while until the skin adjusted. He is on his third tub now and skin is as good as it was when it healed after 2 weeks of application. He said he noticed the difference pretty much straight away. And compared to others he doesn't have to reapply few times a day. The only thing I could complain about is the smell, it is noticeable, not not bad if you like citric scents, I don't. But it is a natural scent not a chemical one like you get with the others. I just prefer unscented creams.
