The net I have now isn't fine enough to stop them.** A: I bought this item for a screen door I build myself and I would recommend it to anyone thinking of buying,because it is strong and can withstand any weather. The one good thing about this this You can use staples on it and it does not affect the the fabric. **Q: What is it made of?** A: Its a plastic coated nylon mesh I made a wooden frame to fit the window and stretched mesh over works just fine in the restaurant kitchen. **Q: How long is it ? And if you need to order a certain length how do you do so?** A: put the quantity you need in the quantity box it will come as one continuous piece **Q: I'm not a handyman! What do you use to fix the mesh to the window frames.** A: I bought 'velcro white stick on self-adhesive tape' off Amazon and cut out small sections which I then stuck along a upvc window frame. I then cut out correspondending sections of velcro to stick on to the mesh itself (the mesh being cut to window size), (which eventually came off, but if you go to the trouble of sticking two pieces of velcro together with the mesh inbetween and staple them, they stay on the mesh giving you a really strong piece of velcrod mesh to stick to the velcro on the window frame. Mine are still up because I did this and have been up for approx 4 months if not more! Was very easy to work with and to cut, making it fit well. Didn't seem flimsy and hopefully should last. One slight issue was the way the item was folded on delivery as it left a crease or two in the wrong places.... however hoping they will fall out over time. Used super glue to fix to the plastic and so far so good.
