Fellowes P-35c Home Confetti Cut Shredder

We bought this to replace our old shredder which gave up the ghost.It is an excellent bit of kit. It has a safety lock on it which is a great idea. There is a forward and reverse switch with neutral in the middle. This means you can put the machine in neutral and slide the safety lock across making the whole thing safe. It is very quiet compared to our old one too. It operates smoothly and effectively, munching its way through 3 sheets at a time (it says it'll do more but 3 seems to be the optimum). The top has a handle built in making it easy to lift off, you then just need to empty the bin. Bin takes a fair amount of waste too.All in all - very happy with our purchase.

Quiet, efficient and a must in today's environment.Sits nicely in any room, doesn't require much space. Ours is stored in a little space under our table in the office.So easy to use. Does exactly what it should do and has a surprisingly large storage space for such a little item.Does shred credit cards and things with ease and as for paper, its like giving candy to a child.Would recommend this item to anyone and everyone who receives letters and doesn't want their identity to be stolen. Just shred the address details and other parts of any unwanted document sent via the post.Don't load more than 4 pieces of A4 paper at a time, it doesn't like it and do use the Swordfish Shredder Lubricant when necessary, we worked it out to use it once a week if using the shredder a lot in that week, however, use your own judgement.

This is a really good shredder for the size and price. It's decently portable, a bit on the top heavy side but its small size means its easy to find a space for it and move it around as needed.It's easy to use, pretty much just plug and play. It's very efficient and quick fast working, cutting through paper very swiftly. Be careful not to overload it as it will jam. I did find it difficult to get it working again when it does jam, so be patient with it and only do a small number of sheets at a time!It's very safe - it automatically deactivates if the lid is even slightly off, and there's no way you could get your fingers anywhere near the blades due to the way they are hidden within the machine.It's easy to empty out and clean, though it might be a bit messy doing so as this shreds to very small pieces.It's recommended you get some shredder oil with this to improve it's maintenance and longevity. I've had this for years now, and it still works just fine.Overall, for the size and price, this is a very good shredder, would recommend.

Well speak as you find. I've had one of these for the last six years before it finally gave up the ghost, So it goes without saying that I have just replaced it with an identical one at a very good price from Amazon. In fact it was a lot cheaper than I paid then and was £14 less than what others are charging at the moment. Myself I use it quite frequently,although I don't shred multiple sheets at a time in which case it is never overloaded. So if you need to do this then perhaps you should look for a more substantial one as some reviewers seem to have had problems with this. Having said that I did research other more expensive shredders and there appears to be negative reviews on them all so why pay eye watering prices for those, I don't see the point. I think it is a nice practical home shredder which I would definitely recommend

Great for parents with small children as this shredder has 3 safety features: you have to firstly turn on the power, then release the safety lock and then set the shredder to auto-shred position. You can leave the shredder on stand-by all the time of course if you don't have kids around for easy access. It is quite small, but ideal size for occasional home shredding. My old shredder did not deal well with receipts but this one does the job perfectly. You would not want to shred more than 2 pages at a time, 3 pages max, but overall I'm very happy with my purchase.

Had a older version of this one for ten years, give or take a year or so. It was fantastic, shredded for hour after hour. Seemed to take as many pages as you could get in the opening, brilliant thing.This new one is a bit to be desired. If it lasts a couple of years I’d be surprised. It won’t really do more than two sheets at a time, or should I say it’s happier doing one or two at a time. The more you feed it the quicker it will lock out! Then you’ll wait five minutes before it will go again. It really is for occasional usage.And that’s what it does say on the Can. But usually these thing are much more robust than the manufacturer estimates, but not in this case!!!! So take note, it’s for occasional usage, and small amounts at a time. If you want more, don’t buy this, waste of money.

I bought this and did not read the instructions properly. It's for small jobs, so use it for 2 mins and then let it rest for 20. I blocked the machine after using it twice for longer sessions - it was whirring in reverse but not taking any paper into the machine. I rang the help desk wanting to vent, but the lady was brilliant and talked me through how I could rectify it. Turning the power off (very important!), and pushing a ruler or credit card gently into the centre of the machine, not through the teeth, but just pressing and then releasing. Turned the machine back on and was sceptical it would work as the 'teeth' still looked blocked, but the machine whirred and took paper fine. Note to self, read instructions properly before using. Recommend it as a small good value machine for light use.

Perfecto para un particular que no tenga que destruir mucho papel muy seguido.

Como comentan otros compradores, ojo, viene con enchufe de Reino Unido y se necesita un adaptador a enchufe europeo estándar.Como trituradora, el despiece del papel es correcto, tanto a lo largo como a lo ancho (sin esas tiras interminables de largas).Cuidado con sobrepasar los 5 folios juntos (o menos si es papel de gramaje superior) porque se nota que "le cuesta", no se me ha llegado a atascar nunca pero se nota que hace el esfuerzo.Ah, también tritura sin problemas tarjetas de crédito!
