You can fill with water straight from the tap - takes about 20 seconds **Q: Could this be used as a polymer clay mould?** A: Hi Craig, Crazy you should ask that question because I am a Model/Mould Maker. The only way you could use this as a mould is for the casting medium to be runny/pourable. Polymar clay can only be used in hard Press Moulds not soft silicon moulds like the skull Ice Cube moulds sold here. If you wish to cast skulls using this mould? then I suggest using a 2 part epoxy resin. You may get a lot of air bubbles so mix resin gently (or use a vacuum chamber but this is specialist equipment) (2 part resin is very toxic so please be careful ...wear silicon gloves and a chemical mask) DaveB :) **Q: Do you think i coukd use these in the oven ?** A: Primarily they are used for ice cubes. It comes with a small funnel, but I find just running the tap on low to be effective. Pop in the freezer. and hey presto! The shape doesn't last that long once in a drink, but it looks great on first presentation. My only grumble is 4 isn't enough, I'd have liked it to produce 6.
