It's a light fragrant scent that's not comparable to something else that I know of. It's nice. **Q: is this any good for afro hair** A: Not really. A product generally for mixed hair. I am mixed white and black-carribean was ok in my hair (could do with a bit more hold and moisture). I also tried in my daughters hair (thicker and more afro than my own) and I wouldn't choose to use it again in her type of hair. Try the Cantu range. **Q: Would it be possible to use this on dry hair by mixing a small amount in a spray bottle with water and spraying the hair?** A: I am sorry I do not know if you can put it in a spray bottle with water, but you can definitely use it on dry hair just as it is... **Q: I've noticed my hair thin when using product. I wash my hair once a week and use this religiously. Its rich, feels greasy when you put it in but doesn't leave the hair oily, just moisturised and healthy shiny.I apply to dripping wet hair and squish to condiah until my hair has drunk the product. After I apply cantu curl activator and style with my denman brush. Fantasticly defined curls that last all week!It's hard to squeeze the product out so I leave the bottle upside down for ease.Not the cheapest but although I use a lot, it seems to take a lo g time to go through the 300ml bottle. My hair type is 3c/4a, it's really thick and just above shoulder height when it is curly.Pros of the product- Makes my hair feel moisturised without the combination of any other products- A little really goes a long way; I have really thick hair and even a pea sized amount is enough coverage at times- The bottle itself makes it easy to apply it, rather than a tub having to put your fingers into itCons of the product- It doesn't smell great, it has a paint like smell to it- Leaves white residue when mixed with ecostyler gel- It is expensive- The bottle is on the small side considering the priceOverall I haven't seen my curls this defined and healthy in such a short period of time. My hair regime is the same except replacing shea moisture black castor oil leave in conditioner for this, the main difference between the two is that this is more creamy and shea moisture is slightly more watery however I have noticed more of a difference with this product.
