I'd say my hair was medium length, and I spike it up. Once it's first cut it really is a good matte, holds well and less greasy than a lot of the alternatives. Like the VO5 range, which again, is good but is a bit greasy. Now my hairs slightly longer and heavier (My hairs pretty think) the hold doesn't last all day. (It also struggles after a decent gust of wind!) So I currently alternate between this and DAX Red Wax which provides a better hold for longer hair in my opinion. It holds longer, but the matte provides a better natural look. **Q: I have short fine hair will this product suit?** A: Not at all. I have very fine hair and this did nothing. Zero hold. **Q: is it good for hair like zayn maliks?** A: I'm not sure what he has his hair like at the moment but I find after my hair gets a bit longer and thicker it doesn't offer the same texture. Although everyone's hair is different. **Q: I have slightly longer thick hair.
