From the manufacturer Making your own stickers is as easy as turning the knob The Xyron XRN500 Create-a-Sticker applies an even layer of adhesive to the back of any flat item up to 5 inches wide. Use it instead of glue dots, household glue, glue sticks or other adhesives. Insert your item Whether it is a picture of a loved one, a detailed die-cut, something for your little one's homework, a planner sticker, label or any other flat item up to 5 inches wide, simply feed it into the machine. Turn the knob Push your item in just until you feel resistance then turn the knob handle. Your item will emerge from the back of the machine with an edge-to-edge layer of non-toxic adhesive. It is now ready to be applied where you want it. Remove item and place on your project Peel your personalised creation from the backing paper and place on your project. Adhesive is immediately dry so cards can go in envelopes, planners can be closed, homework can go in folders. No need to wait for a messy glue to dry. Replacing the cartridge The unit comes loaded with a full size 18 foot cartridge of permanent adhesive. When you are ready to replace this, or to switch to repositionable adhesive, simply open the top of the machine, lift up on the cartridge to remove, set aside, and slide in a new cartridge. Refills available in permanent or repositionable adhesive Refills for the XRN500 are available in either permanent (AT1505-18) or repositionable (AT1506-18) adhesive. Both provide a long lasting hold, but the repositionable will allow for re-positioning the item a time or two so you can get your placement just right. For smaller items look for the XRN250 The Xyron Create-a-Sticker is also available in a smaller size which will accept items up to 2.5 inches wide. Ideal for smaller items or taking to crops or retreats. Look for item XRN250. The smaller unit has a crank handle and the XRN500 has a knob handle.

This machine is exactly what I needed for my intricate cut outs, I can stick them on my projects easily, before I had to use glue and it was so messy and sometimes ruined the item I was working on but not with this machine.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quite pleased with it but refills are expensive

This is a good quality machine. It does make stickers really well, its not so good on intricate die cuts as the glue can often stick out in the spaces and looks grubby, but for larger flat pieces it is fine. It lasted for ages but when it ran out the price of the refils has put me off buying one. It is annoying they are not that easy to get in the UK as waiting for them to come from America is another annoyance. That being said overall I am impressed with the product and I would recommend it to others.
