They LOVE it!
The media could not be loaded. I had found one of these at the AtHome store and made the mistake of only buying one. I didn't think they would both love it, but as soon as I filled it and gave it to our new rescue our other dog showed interest in it like never before. He never touched his kong, so off to Amazon I went to find another. This treat dispenser is awesome, I fill it halfway with kibble, and tear up some treats into small pieces to put inside as well. They go to town rolling this cupcake all over the floor. The top half is a hard rubber so they can get grip to pick it up, while the bottom half is hard plastic with holes in it for sniffing. My rescue maltese quickly learned to pick it up and set it on her blanket so it is easier to control and doesn't roll away. The other one just rolls it all over and waits for the treats to pop out leaving the kibble all over (bc he is snobby). She isn't picky and is very food oriented so she goes around eating up his scraps. Only complaint is that because the top is rubber and they get it wet with their mouths it will readily grab up hair particles and such. However, this is to be expected given the material. It is super easy to disassemble and wash off. It provides an endless amount of entertainment depending on how big or small the treats are broken into. You can put a larger piece in to block it up a little and slow the dispensing. Too big of pieces though is torture, so eventually you have to open it for them and let them have it, otherwise it won't come out the small hole in the top. Highly recommend, both my maltese's love it.

Better then I thought!
The media could not be loaded. WELL WORH THE PRICE!I got this for my dog Lucy. originally because she was jealous my rabbit Bubba was getting so many toys per needing to engage him more. Lucy found this to be very difficult to understand and was feeling left out. Frankly spending so much money on my new rabbit I wasn't thinking about spending a lot on Lucy, she has tons, tons of toys! but she just was being normal jealous of the new rabbit Bubba. So I saw this Cupcake treat dispenser, it was so affordable, thought I would try it.I started with just putting treats in it for Lucy when I was on the floor with her and my rabbit Bubba and she really enjoyed it a lot but was wanting more and more treats so I thought I would just put her crunchy food in it. I honestly thought Lucy would leave that party! But it was like she really didn't even know she was eating her actual food. she had quit eating her crunchy dry food protest of new brother! Lucy had only been eating her allowed wet food am/pm. Wow! Back on track! I just needed to get the right trick to get Lucy on track and I guess a cupcake did the trick!I'm really glad that I got it.One very positive thing was it the price. It's very very easy to fill.certainly don't need pellets, treats are food flying around on the floor when I'm with both these pets on trying to get in each other's way. I sure have my hands full! It's only 2 pices, and easy to take apart to measure Lucy's crunchy (AKA dry food-Aldi small dog food bites) in.Easy to clean, I wash in sink with other dishes and let air dry overnight. I believe it says handwash only on cardboard it comes on.Oh ya! I didn't need any tools or help detaching it from the packaging! Nice!If your still reading this-get it!!!Lucy Aproved-Bubba witnessedNothing so far I can say I don't like.-I don't leave it for Lucy to chew on. Larger size treats still for "small" dogs fit. The dog food in my video is pretty dang small.

Do not buy. Falls apart.
Sadly this is super poorly made product. I have a couple of older dogs that don’t have strong chewing power. They were able to chew this easily and quickly. Getting not only the lid off but also the plastic rubber lid part began to fall apart. Dangerous for the dogs to ingest. I tried both small and large size (large size for my medium and large dog and small for my 2 small dogs). Again they’re not at all power chewers. Do not buy this product.

Not for an aggressive chewer
This cupcake treat dispenser only lasted for a half hour! My little yorkie destroyed this toy like she’s a boxer or a German shepherd! I do not recommend for an aggressive chewer! The toys does work well for keeping her busy and dispensing treats easily, but just not for Aggressive chewers.

I wasnt expecting this inexpensive toy to be such a hit- honestly wasnt expecting much but my dog loves it. When we adopted him- he was prob 3 lbs- this was the ONLY way he'd eat for the first few months. Hated bowls/ plates. If you put a pile of food on the ground (we were desperate lol) and put the cupcake filled next to it with the same food- he goes to the cupcake. It keeps him busy which is always a plus.. He still uses it, I keep one at work and I just had to replace the first one because his golden retriever friend broke it.. We'd still have the first one..Its not meant for a 70lb pup to pick it up and chew it. She broke it in 30 seconds lol its too big for my dog to pick up so chewing it wasn't an issue. A dog could probably chew the cupcake top edge but all depends on your dog. Once the top is bent, it's done- just opens up. Its perfect for my small breed pup. He loves to chew - eats everything- but doesn't chew this. He's now 9months and 8lbs and still uses it.. Its way too easy now, he just gives it a tap and eats he food but he still uses it daily. I think it will be hit or miss with some dogs- I had a dog who was super food motivated by couldn't be bothered to work for food in this way. This is pretty inexpensive compared to most treat/ food balls so I think it's a good way to see if it's something your dog likes. I paid more for my first one at my local national pet store.. this is this best price I've found.
