Especially when the sky is overcast and the light intensity is constantly changing, an extremely fast MPPT controller improves the energy yield by up to 30% compared to pulse width modulation (PWM) charge controllers and by up to 10% compared to slower MPPT controllers. Load output: overloading the battery can be prevented by connecting all loads to the load output. The load output separates the loads when the battery has been discharged to a specified voltage value. Alternatively, you can also choose an algorithm for intelligent battery management: see BatteryLife. The load output is short-circuit protected. Some loads (especially inverters) are best connected directly to the battery. The inverter remote control is best connected to the load output. Under certain circumstances, a special interface cable is required. Please refer to the manual (English language not guaranteed). BatteryLife: intelligent battery management. If the solar charge controller is unable to recharge the battery to full capacity within one day, the status of the battery will continually cycle between "partially charged" and "discharge finished". I do like the victron software however since this isn't the Bluetooth version it requires an adittional cable to connect it. I am having issues trying to update the firmware and the software seems to be erasing any data past 2 days old so for that reason I've dropped a star.
