Very quiet and works perfectly with my vintage American Reel to Reel players. I was sceptical about the build quality and the possibility of transformer hum - But I needn't have been - It is very well built and silent.

Needed for my USA oscilloscope clock, 700 watts is probably overkill but but it's running now for over 24 hours and its stone cold and silent, would recommend.  it appears to be using a beefy looking toroidal transformer ... looks built to last !
