Is this size still available?** A: U usual size most connectors 3/4bsp **Q: Hi do you remove the blue tab when fitting?** A: Yes remove blue clip, insert pipe fully, reinsert blue clip. Done **Q: The feed at the back of fridge freezer is 1/4 inch copper pipe. Will the push fit end of this fitting work with this pipe instead of lldpe pipe?** A: Not sure as my fridge freezer had a plastic pipe from the back to connect to the water supply so the push fitting worked **Q: I have a broken 1" to 1/4" pushfit connector. Is this size still available?** A: This is 3/4" not 1" . However if one was to incorrectly measure with a device other than a caliper when calculating the metric size then you may in fact be looking for a 3/4". For instance, if you measure with a ruler or measuring tape , then a 3/4" fitting will measure 1" (wereas if measured with the correct measuring device, a caliper, then you will see it is in fact 3/4"). so, if you need a 3/4" bsp to 1/4", then this is the fitting for you. So yeah 10/10. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Suitable replacement part for fridge, although these connectors can be troublesome *by R***B on 21 August 2014* Bought this to replace one that came with my John Lewis American-style fridge, which neither my plumber, nor I afterwards, could get to stop dripping from the push-fit end. It screws on fine to a standard water supply connection (like the ones for washing machines and dishwashers). Disappointingly, the first time I tried it, it also dripped. So I removed the tube, took another sliver off the end of the tube, ensuring it was squared off, inserted again and this time no drip. The tube and inner basket do hang out at a rather alarming angle when 'pushed in', but it has now been watertight for two months without a problem (and I can probably remove the bowl I left underneath it now!). Personally I'd be much happier with a screw-fit fitting on my fridge - these push-fit connectors seem much more troublesome to me.
