Review: Take care of a child is mixing the chemicals - Excellent. My grandson was delighted and is watching them grow.
Review: Follow the instructions - First thing read the instruction. These do work best when using freshly boiled water, distrurb as little as possible, don't keep in a room too hot (as UK had recently) or too cold (how UK is 50 weeks of the year) I did two of these kits and one during heat wave didn't work as well. The crystal climbers it's best to take out rather than push back in. Make sure u don't ignore them as I left for 2 hours and they took over in the heat. When the crystals are to size drain the liquid don't wait for all the liquid to evaporate. Wear gloves when handling the crystals. Work out what colours you want before you start as the seed crystals come with just enough so big crystal is one pack, so don't use all one colour of want different shades or colours than white, red and blue. Or as my first one white, red, blue, purple and one was red,blue and pink. It's a great kit to do with kids but maybe have adult mix, handle and display and let kids watch then grow and in display case ( maybe tape the case or could drop on floor and break (yes I dropped few b4 taped them)

**Q: are the instructions in english**
A: Hi, Our pack and instructions are both in English, our box says 4M Crystal Growing Experimental Kit on the box, not like the image shown. Mark (Inspiring Toys)

**Q: once fully grown and taken out of the liquid do the crystals remain stable**
A: If you are careful and follow instructions and be patient then you will get some lovely crystals that we have kept for quite some time that are still ok.
You can redissolve crystals and dry out and try again if you fluff it first time around.

**Q: What type of crystals are they?**
A: The crystals are called 'monoammonium phosphate' which are a base compound, it grows into tetragonal crystals.

**Q: Very mixed reviews. Why have some been able to grow crystals and some not ?**
A: I followed the instructions and nothing appeared to be happening and I literally forgot about it until I came back a week or 2 later!! Maybe some are just slower to grow depending on temperature they're in?

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked exactly as indicated

I didn't have high expectations - but this crystallisation kit worked quite well in the end. Just follow the instructions and you can't go far wrong. It takes about a week before the crystals are large enough to be harvested. The larger pot takes a few days longer. The mix colour crystals gave nice results. Its a fun way to get kids interested in basic science. The age indication is for 14 & upwards, but I think this would be more more interesting for the 10-12 age group. Not a bad kit overall.
