As a Christian who values humanity, l found myself in a moral quandary as l witnessed such brutally immoral material, yet, l was gripped, gripped every bit as much as the metaphorical rabbit, confronted by the hypnotic grip of its predator. Yet, as a long time fan of The Walking Dead l continued to watch, grasped by a concern for the plight of characters l identified with, thoroughly hooked, thoroughly shocked. And so, why l do l give this a 5 ? The Walking Dead is quality adult drama. There is nothing gratuitous here. We cannot just close our eyes when confronted by evil depravity; we cannot just turn away from horrors of the world and hope that such things do not happen, in the REAL WORLD.
