Stylish. Modern. Eco. How did you come up with the idea for this product? Two reasons; being made from recycled paper packing we needed product ideas to enable us to use the material up and get more waste diverted from landfill. Secondly, we noticed that all other outdoor clocks are fussy and confusing to look at from the back of the garden, hence the simple clean design with white on black for high visibility. What makes your product special? A clock is very functional, it has a very clear and useful purpose rather than just being ‘the next fashion statement’. To help the environment all our products are designed with longevity in mind, the clear, simple, clean design means it will fit within most tastes and homes and won’t be thrown away because ‘orange’ is no longer in fashion. What has been the best part of your startup experience? Seeing something that was once just an idea, a little something in the back of your mind whilst cutting the lawn come to life, become something tangible, useful, helpful. Being able to make that idea from recycled materials and so contribute in some way to helping society is also greatly rewarding.
