I bought the tin in size M and made perfect sized mini doughnuts so no idea how small they are in the mini tin but the tin is great quality and can tell it will last.The recipe included was easy to follow and as someone suggested in their review, I piped the mix into the tin, which was super fast and easy. I was a bit dubious of how easy they'd pop out without a proper cake release spray as the recipe advises to use vegetable spray (I have those 1cal ones for cooking already) but I followed it and they pop out very easily without sticking and do only take 6-7 minutes to bake.For my second batch I took out the nutmeg and used vanilla fudge Flavoured icing sugar (sugar and crumbs brand) instead of granulated sugar to go a little bit sweeter but the original recipe is great too. It's more a dough mix than cake so they taste great - like doughnuts without the grease. I checked what the UK equivalent to cake flour was and used 1 cup of plain flour but swapped 2tbsp for cornflour and worked fine.I dipped mine in melted chocolate and added a few sprinkles. The recipe makes 13-14 doughnuts and with how quick they bake I just left my extra dough in the piping bag. The first time I did try using all the dough in 12 doughnuts but then some were overfilled so looked like little mushrooms. Still tasted great though!I'd definitely recommend this tray for making your own mini doughnuts perfectly. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love it! *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 14 December 2014* Made my first lot of doughnuts in this today. I used the recipe that came with it, (on the inside of the cardboard sleeve) and they are scrumptious. Very yummy. Although the recipe said it makes 12 I got 18 out of it. I buttered and floured the tin very well before hand including the centre piece, each batch I made. I watched the Barefoot Contessa make baked doughnuts the other week which is why I purchased the tin and she said a handy tip was when they come out of the oven to quite firmly tap the bottom of the tray onto the work surface to loosen them from the tin. I did this and it worked they came out really easily, and were not stuck at all. As the recipe is from the US you need to convert, I have cup measurements so that wasn't a problem but tablespoon of butter was as it is marked on the packaging in the US. I found a conversion site and got the UK equivalents. it is 30g butter, buttermilk was measured using a jug and although it said 2 eggs, I added 3 as for some reason US eggs are huge. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Doughnut Tin *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 11 May 2014* This is a tin of good quality, sturdy and built to last. It comes with a basic recipe which I have used and tweaked, and they come out very well. I have noticed with the recipe (or this sort of baked doughnut) you have to take them out slightly before you would think normally for a cake, very squishy but nearly bounce back fully. Then they will firm up as they cool, and your doughnut won't be dry.The non-stick is lasting marvellously, and shows no sign of wear.The only thing which has been a little annoying, is filling them. To avoid getting mixture all over the pan, I've resorted to used a little jug. However, I was thinking of getting some piping equipment (as that will probably be perfect) and it's probably just the push I need.All in all, I love my doughnut tin. And everyone around me now looks forward to them.
