This makeup primer is marvelous. I don't put on my makeup without first applying this primer. It makes my makeup stay on and always look fresh, It also hides away small face lines and wrinkles. I love it and highly recommend it.

This is an interesting face primer. It's a serum and not a cream like other face primers. I was surprised at how runny it was until I realized it says it's a serum. I've never used a serum as a face primer before. It feels nice on my skin, but only use it if you have dry skin. I've got combination skin, so when I put it on the oily areas it made them oilier, but it worked great on the dry areas. It does take a little longer than my other primers to fully set. I like to put it on right out of the shower and then let it dry and set while I style my hair. While it feels nice, I haven't noticed any lifting or sculpting effects. I also haven't noticed any minimization in wrinkles. This is just ok, but it's not good enough for me to use it instead of my regular primer.

Best primer I’ve used yet and I’m 52 yes old

Somewhere between my teen years and my mid-life, someone thought to add primer to the makeup routine. Silly me, I thought that was just for cars!But wow! Now that I have a few laugh-lines (to put it delicately) I have discovered primer. This primer has a bit of tint to it.I have found that I can apply a very thin layer of this primer and no longer need foundation (the bane of wrinkles). I just apply a thin layer of this primer, and finish my makeup routine.Due to the thinness, there is no obvious foundation, yet it smooths and evens-out the skin and coloration, leaving a (fairly) flawless canvas for your makeup.As such, powder is optional…I usually only use powder now if I’ll be outside and need a bit more “hold”.The tube is what I’d consider a medium size. However, you need so little each day that it should last a long while.Seriously, I laughed at the idea of face primer, but I’m a believer now!Recommended!

too runny. It went all over the place.

Mirabella Awaken Face Primer is slightly tinted and very runny. No noticeable aroma and the primer absorbs quickly. It claims it is lifting but I did not see noticeable results in the fine lines around my eyes or my deeper laugh lines. I tried applying the first day before my liquid sunscreen and my face stayed sticky all day. The next day I applied after the sunscreen but before liquid foundation and the primer felt much more natural and comfortable. As for lasting power, my liquid foundation was a little better at the end of the day with less break down on my chin but not a significant difference.I am rating 3 stars because this primer is just average. I would compare it to drugstore quality such as e.l.f. but obviously much more expensive. For my oily mid-30’s skin Mirabella was just okay. I would not pay the current price of $32 a bottle for a middle of the road product.
