It has a certain oiliness to it, so requires some detergent of some kind to get it all off normally. **Q: rusty water from overhead pipe dripped on car will this remove? does it strip paint? clay bar for me didnt work** A: Man don't use muriatic acid that'll eat through your paint if you're not careful I would use a product called lime-away it's a product made for cleaning bathrooms and faucets and stuff and it's pretty strong it gets rid of rust and lime and all that but it's not strong enough to ruin the paint! **Q: Can you use this on headlights and if you can how long do they last for before the haze come back?** A: I'm not an expert on headlight cleaning. I believe rubbing compound is not aggressive enough to resolve the hazing of headlights. I suggest that you purchase a kit designed to resolve the problem, as I did. I bought rubbing compound to be used on my car and my boat, not the headlights. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It works *by B***N on 13 June 2026* Good product ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Received in damaged tub *by L***A on 20 August 2021* Very easy to use and worked for what I needed but only issue is it was in a damaged tub which can't seal anymore. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing product! *by D***G on 16 June 2024* I had a little bump in my up!
