Review: Its a Pole and its very usefull! - This extension pole fits on the Bosch AMW HedgeTrimmer I recently bought from desertcart (I dont buy much anywhere else nowadays,sorry High Street) tried the complete cutter on the very high hedge at the back garden.The pole is simply clicked into place then you screw up the red safety knob up tight,and thats it.As someone else has mentiones when the extension pole is fitted on the cutter it is a bit daunting at first but it does the job very well.after 3 more goes I am now familiar with the set up so I just get on with the trimming.it has solved my problem.thank you Bosch.engineers. Review: A nice addition to the standard Bosch AMW Unit - This is a great addition to the Bosch AMW for those who need a bit of further reach and don't want to overstretch. I used this when cutting the face of a 16ft hedge and was able to do most of it from the ground with minimal effort. It's also ideal for cutting in areas where you can't normally access (i.e. over the top of a shed or other garden feature). It can be used with any of the attachments and is particularly useful with the pruner attachment (but watch out for falling branches). The build quality is ok (hence 4 stars and not 5) and the mating end which connects to the AMW unit actually fell off from mine (needed to be tightened back together with an Allen key). Also, be aware, because it shifts the centre of gravity so can make the unit feel a lot heavier and difficult to handle if you don't use it correctly. Why do you need 3? Do you put them together?** A: We had the same problem with this default supplier showing minimum 3. If you go to the β€˜10 other new’ and click on that you can find other suppliers selling singularly, which is what we did to buy just one pole. I have the hedge cutter only and the extension pole gives it that extra reach you sometimes need. It gets a bit unwieldy as it's quite heavy as a complete assembly, but OK as long as you keep yourself balanced and use the shoulder strap to best effect. **Q: Can this be used with the hedge trimmer attachmment** A: Yes no problem, I even use it with the chainsaw attachment......great bit of kit **Q: Is it possible to add extra extension poles ? I already have one, but I would like perhaps another 1-2.** A: Technically I see no reason why not. I also ordered this extension pole on the basis of the "frequently bought together" list. What was not stated at all in the page for the AMW 10 HS is that an extension pole is also included in the box, so I now have two.
