This set is staggered. You can confirm by looking closely on the side of the tuner shaft. Each one is etched notating its length (19mm, 20mm, and 21mm).

Q: Installed great, constantly loses pitch with locking nut tight? Loses a whole step in tuning and I can't tighten the nut any more unless I use pliers?

Did you install them with the metal plates as shown in the picture? I've put these on several guitars and found them to be superior to anything else out there. Make sure you tighten the knob on the bottom (sounds like you already did that) Remember to use only 1/2 to 1 wrap around the post, and when you tune, tune to pitch, then give the string a good pull around the 12th fret or so. Then REPEAT this process (tune to pitch, pull the string, repeat) until the string stays in tune after giving it a good pull. I've not ever had a string slip thru the post hole after it's been tightened.
