The problem is likely to be in removing the plaster if you wish to use the vase for an alternative purpose. **Q: Can you use this to create a glass casting mould** A: I’ve only used this to create a mould for soft clay - and not put the mould in the kiln, so I can’t say 100%. But I don’t think this is the right stuff for casting glass in at kiln temperature. At best it may crumble, at worst it may explode and damage the kiln. Go to a craft glass suppliers instead and see what they recommend. **Q: Hi there, do you know how many litres of plaster a 5kg bag makes ?
