Best to spray feet as can be very sensitive on legs etc (itchy, stingy), I do it at bed time as it is rather sticky. I was advised to wear socks but don't like the confines of socks in bed. Hope that helps a little bit. **Q: Why do you have to wash it after 1/2 hour you apply it and does it make you feel sleepy if you apply it during the day.** A: Hello Mrs Watts No its not necessary to wash the area you sprayed. The magnesium is absorbed after 20 minutes to 30 mins and so its not important to leave it on the skin.You can leave it until you bathe or shower. Personally if you use it correctly and build up the amount gradually it should not make you sleepy but more like relaxed. If you cant sleep then a few extra sprays should help. Its great for relieving muscle spasms and pain.
