The quality of this cable for the price is very good. The RCA plugs get a good grip on the connector's of the CD player and amp, however they don't grip so tight that you feel that pulling the cable out could rip the connector off like monster cables, which is very good news :) in fact, I would say that the RCA plugs on this cable, are amongst the best I've ever used. The build quality is very good as well and the cable feels really well made and should last a good long time. The cable, being well shielded is quite thick and has some weight to it, however, it's still easily light enough to not put strain on the RCA ports of equipment. It's reasonably flexible too. In terms of sound quality, I can't really comment because, in my case I'm using it as a digital lead, so it either works or it doesn't, I can say that it definitely hasn't hurt the sound from my CD player and the sound of CD's sounds great to me ears. I'm sure that if I were to use it as an analog cable for a Subwoofer, then it would work really well because the RCA plugs make really good connection and the cable is really well shielded.
