The charge rate would really depend on the adapter you're using, our cable will be able to support standard and quick charging technology. **Q: All quick charge versions including qc 3.0 are supported for optimal charge rates. what does this mean? because it says 2.0 cable.. confusing!** A: USB version and Qualcomm’s Quick Charge version are 2 different things, which is why there are 2 different values. This is a USB 2.0 cable, meaning data/transfer speeds are limited at the 2.0 specification, and anything that requires USB 3.0 will not be compatible. This also means all USB versions before 2.0 are also supported. On the other hand, Quick Charge is Qualcomm’s technology for fast charging of devices and batteries. QC 3.0 is supported, but so is every specification before, such as 1.0 and 2.0. **Q: Why is this microusb end shaped like flat hexagon, while others are like a trapezoid?** A: Please note that this is a reversible Micro USB cable, meaning that it allows the cable to be plugged in from either direction into your device. Because the male end is designed to be reversible, that is why it looks different than the standard micro USB connector. **Q: How does this cable work with wireless chargers? Does the led light work still or does it stay one color?** A: The LED light still works when used with a wireless charger. I personally tested it myself and the colors still change accordingly depending if the said device is charging or not. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐ Great concept but frustratingly inconsistent *by S***M on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 7 November 2018* A good-looking, nice feeling cable that I have mixed feelings about, and agonized about whether or not to keep.FOR:The cable and plugs are robust and attractive and feel good to use. The LED provides genuinely useful feedback for whether you've plugged the cable in correctly, as well as whether fast charge is working. The reversible plugs mean you don't have to think about which way round the cable goes...AGAINST:...except, half the time the reversible plug will only fit the socket a certain way anyway, so you have to fiddle around trying to get it in properly before giving up and flipping it around. On the big USB A end it's a mild inconvenience (since, unlike a regular USB cable, there is no obvious 'right' way it costs you a few moments figuring out which way round will work best). On the Micro B side it's more annoying as some devices won't charge properly with the cable in one orientation so you have to wait and see what colour the status light turns (it always cycles through all three colours twice before settling) before unplugging and flipping. The light itself has been as much a frustration as a help. Perhaps I shouldn't have expected it to be usable in a dark bedroom at night but I was surprised how bright the LED actually is - I suppose so it'll show clearly in daylight. At night the 'breathing' effect is far more disturbing than a simple steady light, and the green charge complete light doesn't always go off when the device finishes charging. My first night trying this with a Galaxy S5, the phone would finish charging, the LED would go green, then the phone screen would turn on (as is usual when it finishes charging), and then the LED would go red again (and the phone's screen would turn back on to indicate charging had begun), then green again, then the screen would turn on again... in the end, the phone's screen was on more or less continuously half the night, which really disturbed my wife (who usually has no trouble at all falling and staying asleep!).The rest of the time with the S5 and other devices have mostly been OK - mostly. There's just a little inconsistency about whether the green light will turn itself off or whether it'll endlessly cycle between red/blue and green.VERDICTIf it's mostly being used during the day, or the bedroom doesn't get super dark at night, or you're simply not bothered by little lights while trying to sleep, this is a genuinely cool little cable that feels really high quality and provides great at-a-glance feedback for your charge status. Plus, it might make it easier to plug in your device thanks to the reversible plug. Or, well - it might not. If you're like us, this inconsistency, plus the surprisingly bright, disturbingly-pulsing light at night which may or may not keep coming back on, might make it not worth the cost and the bother. Also YMMV with regard to whether you think it's cool and useful or just a bit gimmicky.Ultimately, we returned ours and went for a more boring, non-lit Anker cable. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A great new concept in USB Cables. *by M***Y on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 17 September 2017* I purchased the 3' version of this cable which arrived very quickly. Being reversible at each end makes it a joy to use because, like most people, when plugging in a USB cable, most times I tried the wrong way round first time. That has now been consigned to the history books. The different colour LED lighting at the micro side of the cable is extremely handy for indicating as to whether a device has been fully charged or is still charging. All in all, a great cable. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good but... *by D*** on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 10 November 2019* Good solid cable but the micro USB end can be a bit short for some slightly restricted access ports such as my rechargeable torch and shaver. The coloured plastic collar means that there is sometimes not enough length for awkward charging ports. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/48173795-led-micro-usb-cable-0-9-meters-3-feet-fospower](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/48173795-led-micro-usb-cable-0-9-meters-3-feet-fospower) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-25*
