Pantry essential for me
These cubes have been great. They do not taste like fresh pho but with some additional spices, you can come close. It's definitely good to have in my pantry when I want something warm without a lot of effort.

Allow you to make pho quick and easy
The pho cube dissolve very quickly, and the soup is very tasty. Preparation was easy. I know authentic pho is hard to make but this make a good substitution.

Now I will start off my saying I realize the products sodium count. If you have high BP, leave this alone. Now, I have been obsessed with Pho ever since I tried it a few months ago and have been on a quest to learn to make it at home. I mean attempted to make my own broth and all, needless to say, it was awful. Saw these and figures why not. I think this makes some pretty tasty broth. To help with the sodium, I definitely added a bit more water then states.

It just doesn't have the spicy and aromatic impact that a good Pho has. It's like a cross between 40% pho and 60% chicken noodle soup. We'll finish the packet, but not buy again.

Not the deep genuine flavour but I played around and added 1 cube to 2 cups boiling water, added my noodles and put in the microwave for 5 minutes then added a dash of sesame oil and sweet soy for an extra bit of flavour. Does me for a quick lunch.
