Review: Large quantities of grease is not better. - Great quality product. My Delonghi ESAM 4200-S Coffee machine now runs very nicely. The Silicon Grease Tube nozzle is small for a reason on this product as you should be applying small quantities. (hence this tube is difficult to squeeze out). Silicon Grease does not need to be applied in toothpaste type quantities as I have seen shown in many youtube videos, even if you have a massive tub of grease available. Applying a small even smear on two joining surfaces or over o rings is just enough for doing the job. Careful application ensures there is enough product left to carry out many more cleanings and re-applications also globs will not end up in your coffee. I thought this was good value. Review: Does the job and food safe. - Used this silicone grease to lubricate some new 'O'-rings on a kitchen mixer tap spout. The product is transparent and fairly thick to avoid being washed away. I needed something that was food safe as the tap in question is for drinking water. The instructions state it has no influence on taste or smell and is toxologically harmless. The tube only contains 20g of grease so isn't cheap for the amount supplied, but the product itself seems good. The tube has a very narrow nozzle so it's easy to apply small amounts accurately. Made and tested in Germany which can only be a good thing. ## Features - Xavax Multi silicone grease for the care of fully automatic coffee machines, fittings and seals, food-safe, transparent, 20 g - Odorless, food-safe silicone grease with strong adhesion: used as a sealant and lubricant in the kitchen, household, bathroom and workshop - Neutral to plastic and elastomers, consistent properties: no drying out, hardening, resistant to cold and hot water as well as acetone, ethanol, ethylene glycol, glycerin and methanol - Extremely heat-resistant: Use in the temperature range from -40°C to +200°C, food-safe, no influence on smell or taste - 1 tube of Xavax multi-silicone grease, 20 g ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00APYQTPQ | | Best Sellers Rank | 99,334 in DIY & Tools ( See Top 100 in DIY & Tools ) 305 in Lubricants | | Brand | Xavax | | Brand Name | Xavax | | Compatible Material | Plastic | | Container Type | Tube | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 2,158 Reviews | | Flash Point | 250 Degrees Celsius | | Global Trade Identification Number | 04047443173539 | | Included Components | Xavax Multi OKS 1110 Silikonfett tube 20 g | | Item Form | Gel | | Item Type Name | Coffee Machine Cleaner | | Item Weight | 10 Grams | | Item weight | 10 Grams | | Liquid Volume | 20 Millilitres | | Liquid volume | 20 Millilitres | | Manufacturer | Hama | | Material | Plastic | | Model Number | K13346 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Package information | Tube | | Part Number | 111177 | | Recommended Uses For Product | KitchenBathroom | | Recommended uses for product | KitchenBathroom | | SAE J300 Viscosity Grade | 0W | | Specific Uses For Product | Coffee Maker | | Unit Count | 20.0 gram | | Upper Temperature Rating | 200 Degrees Celsius | | Viscosity | 0w | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Xavax - **Item weight:** 10 Grams - **Liquid volume:** 20 Millilitres - **Material:** Plastic - **Package information:** Tube ## Images ![OKS Multi Silicone Grease For the Care and Maintenance of Coffee Machines Food-Safe - Transparent, 20 g - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41ApN44MOcL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Large quantities of grease is not better. *by S***2 on 20 February 2026* Great quality product. I used the tube of grease supplied with the machine, but this is quite small and it has now run out. I looked at quite a few online and chose this one based on the size and the description. I used it for the first time today and it worked exactly like the original Gaggia grease. I am really happy with it. If you've not lubricated your machine before, please watch a video (eg from Gaggia.com). You will see that you need very little to completely grease all the parts, so don't be put off by the size of the tube. There is plenty. Also it is supposed to be really thick and viscous, so again, don't be put off as I think some have been in other reviews. This is for coffee machines or similar domestic appliances. ## Frequently Bought Together - Xavax OKS Multi Silicone Grease For the Care and Maintenance of Coffee Machines Food-Safe - Transparent, 20 g - PHILIPS AquaClean Original Calc and Water Filter, No Descaling up to 5,000 cups, Reduces Formation of Limescale, 2 AquaClean Filters, (CA6903/22) - Philips CA6700/22 Universal Liquid Descaler, Saeco and Other Fully Automatic Coffee Machines Value Pack 2 x 250 ml --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/48249601-oks-multi-silicone-grease-for-the-care-and-maintenance-coffee](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/48249601-oks-multi-silicone-grease-for-the-care-and-maintenance-coffee) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-09*
