Review: So Good Even My Dermatologist Noticed! - I've tried a lot of different vitamin E oils, and this is the best one I've found! I'll start with a surface issue that is nonetheless critical: the scent. Baja Basics' oil is odorless, which is important to me, as this is a product I'm putting on my face. I've tried some vitamin E oils that have an unpleasant smell; that's an absolute pass for me. What has been best about this brand (I've been using it for a year and a half now) is the difference it makes in the appearance of my skin. I'm 52, and I use prescription retinol and hyaluronic acid, etc. But vitamin E oil took my skin to a new, youthful place. I got validation of this when, at a routine appointment with my dermatologist, she asked if I'd "had anything done" to my face. THAT's a product that's working! One caution is that this oil is a bit thicker than others. I learned pretty fast to scale back on how much I was using. If you apply too much, your skin will feel sticky—and will for a while, as this doesn't absorb fast. But it's so worth it for the hyrdration and dewy glow it gives you. A final note: because of the oil's viscosity, it lasts a long time. That makes a reasonably priced item even better priced.
