How many plugs does it take?** A: The socket end of your extension lead fits inside the box and it would accommodate up to 4 sockets providing your plugs are standard 3pin and not RCD type. **Q: I need something safe and waterproof to charge mobility scooter overnight outside? Is this ok for that?** A: Very good I bought 4 of them for outside christmas lights ans have already used them for lights at a birthday **Q: Can i use a normal indoor extention lead and use the box to use it outside or do i need an outdoor exatention lead too?** A: Well, the box is certainly a weatherproof enclosure so long as you feed the flex cable through the rubber holes and make sure that the clamp is firmly in place afterwards. Therefore an indoor extension lead would be OK and you can rest the socket part within the box. The plug socket in the house must be RCD protected. I would recommend mounting/fixing the box on something solid outdoors.
