I've caught (but not wanting to) a couple of chunky hedgehogs who obviously couldn't resist the lure of a broken Twix finger and it's creamy caramel topped wafer biscuit... dammit.... can someone get me out of this trap.... hello? Someone...? :) **Q: Both my traps are extra sensitive- I can't set them. Any tweaks I can make?** A: I found using a bit of masking tape to wrap a single layer around each of the two setting arms that touch, allowed enough grip to keep the trap 'loaded' without tripping. Also putting a small weight on the top of the trap prevents it being knocked and also setting off the trap. **Q: My rat turns out to be a squirrel- will this work for him?** A: Most definitely should...ours turned out to be a baby hedgehog who was very indignant about being kept securely incarcerated overnight :) **Q: Can it catch a mouse? I'm not sure if its a mouse or a rat in the garage. Its rustling quite alit.
