Review: Snug fit, light weight, no noise - I put on a baggy hoodie and you can barely tell I am wearing this vest. It doesn't make a noise. No mould lol. First time wearing it for a few hours the weight didn't bother me. The only thing I found difficult was the tighter I had it wrapped around me for privacy the harder it was to take a deep breath. So I inhale when fitting it on me. It's advertised as front and back protection however it also has metal plates on the sides. It covers all organs. I'm glad I purchased this after doing some research the cheaper ones use ply board and don't protect the sides. The more expensive vests £200+ maybe more discrete if you want to wear a suit but for me this price range and 2 day delivery by desertcart I'm happy with the purchase. Now I just need the arm stab protection sleeves and those trauma stab wound patches to stop bleeding. I also got the boblov body camera from desertcart which is an excellent pairing to this

**Q: Is this vest CE certified ?**
A: There is no CE marking on vest.  The label it does have is in Chinese.  Translation reads: GA68-2008 Police stab-resistant clothing.  I'm assuming this is the Chinese standard of CE.

**Q: Would it withstand a steak knife or carving knife.**
A: A slash, yes. A stab, no.

**Q: Are the panels to this stab proof vest fabric or steel, the listing is very confusing since the images show both vest inserts?**

Your better off going online an buying a real stab vest. Cost you around £750-£1000 am highly recommended.

Don't expect a high quality vest for this price. Honestly the vest is as good as you would expect for the price. Downside there's no side protection, however it does the job. A bit restrictive especially when sitting, but overall a good vest.
