Cowon M2 32GB MP3/MP4 Player - Silver

The sound it produces is great. Its size means it fits in a shirt pocket comfortably. Its battery life is a big selling point - 90 hours, but I haven't checked that.However, and, a really big however, is that it is so difficult to use. The manual Cowon produces is of little value in understanding how to get it to play the music you put on it in the way you want. That the touch interface is not particularly responsive does not help either.Advanced MP3 players who supplied it have been incredibly helpful in providing much needed advice in how to use it.However, such a device should be intuitive to use and if it is not, is simply not fit for purpose.Come on Cowon - try harder! Much harder!

Bought this to replace my creative zen as it only had 16 gb internal memory. Great sound, touch screen can be a bit sensitive.User manual not great but if spend a bit of time you will eventually get the hang of it.

The sound it incredible!Yes, the touch screen is a pain but I usually don't fiddle with it that much. I just let it play and enjoy the sound quality

A big disappointment, I'm afraid. It's billed as an MP3/MP4 player but it can't play any of my MP4 audio files (.m4a). I tried renaming the files to .mp3 and then .mp4 and .aac but still no joy - just 'invalid file'. So I've returned the player and am getting a refund. Such a shame because the playback quality of MP3 audio files was very good. But yes, fiddly, unresponsive screen and an odd way of navigating between files and options. Since other Cowon players can play MP4 audio, I can't understand why the capability would be omitted for this player - and not mentioned in the specs. Time, if not money, wasted.

Having had the iAudio8 which was great, I purchased this model as I needed 32GB. It is not to the same standard or quality and I doubt I will keep it. Now looking to buy something else. Would not recommend this model in any way. I should have read others users reports, but I was so happy with the old model from this company!

What happened to Cowon? This device still sounds great but the cheap resistive HORRIBLE touchscreen is such a let down. Why, Cowon, why? Next time I have to go with another brand...

It is a good product being an exact reproduction of the C2 model but with a series of improvements. The most outstanding would be the duration of the battery. Otherwise I think a gem and as the main defect is perhaps the touch aspect of the screen. Great Amazon as always solving any problem that might be offered and the delivery service has met the deadlines.

Oh my! Cowon, what happened? The touch Screen is so fiddly it takes 5 times to touch the screen to get it to play. The sound is still second to none, but I find the touchscreen unusable. And after having it for just under 1 year, the screen blacked out and never turned back on.....I will still stick with Cowon though as they have the best sound quality around. Might stick with the J line.

Ich habe schon seit Jahren MP3-Player von Cowon (G3, D2, M2). Momentan benutze ich immer noch den D2, den ich 2007 gekauft habe. Er läuft einfach bestens und von Akkuermüdung noch keine Spur.Meine Kinder wollten nun auch mal einen guten Player und beinahe hätte ich wegen der schlechten Kritiken über den Touchsreen und das UI hier, den M2 nicht in Betracht gezogen. Das hat sich zum Glück als unbegründet herausgestellt. Der Touchscreen mag nicht der beste sein, aber natürlich funktioniert er gut. Mit einer Displayschutzfolie scheinbar noch besser. Die Benutzeroberfläche ist sehr gut. Wenn man den D2 gewöhnt ist, weiß man natürlich, was es alles gibt und man findet es dann auch. Die Kinder hatten überhaupt keine Probleme. Nach einer halben Stunde hatten sie alles verstanden und das ohne Anleitung.Ich hatte ihnen vorher einfachere Player gekauft (Sandisk, Trekstor). Das war für mich ein heilsamer Schock. Ich wusste ja gar nicht, was da für ein Schrott verkauft wird. Abgesehen vom schlechten Klang und der häufigen Abstürze gingen da ja nicht mal die Grundfunktionen. Bei einigen wurden sogar in der Ordneransicht die Dateien nicht alphabetisch sortiert angezeigt. Da muss man nach jedem Bespielen das Filesystem des internen Speichers mit speziellen Programmen wie "fatsort" sortieren! Nach unten sind bei MP3-Player scheinbar keine Grenzen vorhanden, was die Qualität angeht.Also war klar, zurück zu Cowon. Da den Kindern die Videofunktion wichtig ist, kam eigentlich nur der M2 in Betracht. Und ich muss sagen, dass ich selbst begeistert war. Nach den ganzen Schrottplayern kommt einem der M2 wie eine Offenbarung vor. Alles funktioniert einfach (scheint nicht immer selbstverständlich zu sein) und der Klang ist überragend.Natürlich verwende ich selbst weiter meinen D2, aber ich habe mir schon mal einen Reserve M2 zugelegt, falls es den dann nicht mehr gibt, wenn ich Ersatz brauche, denn ich habe das Gefühl, gute MP3/MP4-Player sind eine aussterbende Art.Ansonsten noch ein paar Worte zum Vergleich M2/D2, da das in den Bewertungen immer wieder auftaucht und wo der D2 als besser dargestellt wird. Nun, da ich beide Geräte besitze, kann ich das nicht bestätigen. Vom Klang her kann ich keine Unterschiede feststellen, aber der M2 ist schon eine deutliche Verbesserung gegenüber dem D2:- der M2 ist kleiner und leichter- der M2 hat trotzdem ein größeres Display- der M2 startet schneller dank Sleep-Funktion- der M2 lässt sich im Gegensatz zum D2 ohne Stift bedienen.- der M2 hat einen eingebauten Lautsprecher. Damit macht die Weckfunktion erst einen Sinn.- der M2 hat eine deutlich verbesserte Videoabspielfunktion.- UND!!! der M2 kann Musik "gapless" abspielen. Das ist eines der wenigen schmerzvollen Mankos des D2.

Es espectacular, no cuesta lo que otros y la calidad del audio es fantástica. El ecualizador es completo no lo siguiente super preciso se aprecia que han trabajado a fondo en qué sus puntos fuertes sea el audio.Las teclas son perfectas se acomoda muy bien en la mano no pesa nada cabe en cualquier sitio.Parece mentira que un modelo del 2015 funciona mejor que los actuales que tienen muchas más funciones entre otros Bluetooth y WiFi que aquí no se echan en falta.Es una compra totalmente recomendable muy por encima de los fío de los Sonic y de otros

très bon produit.qui bug et se bloque parfois meme la batterie chargée; donc une étoile en moins.manque une connection BLUETOOTH, pour connecter un casque sans fil, cela serait un plus pour étoile à rajouter.très petit et très pratique; le son est excellent dans qualité surtout pour le HIP-HOP, DANCEHALL, JUNGLE, DANCE...à tester pour les musiques utilisant les aigues.batterie tient des heures et des heures et des heures.je ne l'utilise plus depuis janvier 2018,ranger au fond d'un tiroir car j'en avais marre des casques avec fil,et j'ai acheté un casque sans fil avec carte.

All'inizio si presenta un po' ostico da capire e il display resistivo è...mooolto resistivo, si deve premere a fondo, e per noi che ormai siamo abituati alle fluenti schermate degli smartphone è un po' una scocciatura. Comunque la funzione per cui è stato creato è salvaguardata: qualità audio ottima, più di 40 equalizzazioni (anche se tra alcune la differenza del suono è minima, altre sono più evidenti), carina l'animazione del il vinile che gira mentre suona la canzone.Un buon acquisto, per chi non ama Apple come me ma ha bisogno di grande memoria è l'ideale.

Era un buen aparato pero se ha averiado. La pantalla táctil ha dejado de funcionar. Me parece increíble que pase esto en un aparato de esta marca y precio. Siempre bien cuidado y guardado en su bolsita de neopreno comprada en Amazon. No recomiendo su compra ya que lo compré en febrero de 2018 y en agosto de 2019 ha dejado de funcionar, ha durado solo 18 meses!!!
