The photos are absolutely stunning, and we finally learn more about species that we frequently didn't know much about. The Snow Leopard is an excellent example of this. The patience that the crew have had to use to get shots is incredible! All the photos are in colour as well. I liked reading the "Tales" section, which tells you of the difficulties and problems the film crew dealt with whilst filming. This book is worth every penny, and is a steal at the price of £12.00, particularly as the RRP price on the inside flap is £25.00! I have now got both DVD's and books of Planet Earth and Planet Earth 2. I would recommend anyone with an interest in the Natural World to get hold of the DVD's and Books of both Planet Earth's. Many still frames instead of photos *by C***. on 10 January 2017* A must for the die hard Planet Earth fan but there is an aspect that must be addressed: Many of the photos used in the book are snapshots from the actual movie file instead of still photos. Which considering the film was shot in 4K, are high resolution but fine pixelation is noticeable if looking for it.
